Your fee structure, your receipt format, your letterhead — with reminders that go out on their own and a defaulter list that is always current.
Fee collection rarely fails because a school is careless. It fails because nobody had time to follow up: the register says who paid, but the list of who did not is a separate exercise every week.
NEXUS ERP keeps the fee structure, the counter, the reminders and the accounts in one place. Collect at the desk, print the receipt on your letterhead, and let overdue reminders go out without anyone remembering to send them.
Fee heads, class-wise structures, instalments and due dates as your school actually charges them — tuition, admission, exam, transport, and whatever else your school has always collected.
Print the receipt with your school's name, logo and address, in your own receipt number series. Parents get a document that looks like it came from your school, because it did.
Staff wards, siblings, merit or management concessions are recorded against the student, so the balance is right without manual adjustment. Refunds are recorded, not written into a margin.
Fee due and overdue messages reach parents automatically on the dates you set, in the app and by SMS. No weekly sitting to prepare a defaulter call list.
See who is pending, by class and by amount, at any moment of the term — before the exam-form deadline arrives, not after it.
Transport charges follow the route and stop a student is assigned to, so a bus change does not quietly cost the school money.
Collections post into proper double-entry accounts: ledger, trial balance, bank reconciliation, budget against actuals and depreciation. Your auditor gets statements, not a pile of receipts.
Parents paying from the app with UPI or a card, settled straight into the school account. We are building this now.
Today you record how a parent paid (cash, cheque, UPI, bank transfer). Automatic online payment links are coming soon; everything else on this page works now.
Your existing fee structure is entered once during onboarding, class by class, including instalment dates.
The clerk searches the student, takes cash, cheque or UPI, and prints the receipt — with the balance updated the same second.
Due and overdue messages go out on the dates you chose, to every pending parent, without a reminder to yourself.
Daily collection, pending by class, and the ledger behind it — ready when the management asks, not after a night of counting.
Pay for what you use
You do not have to buy the whole system to fix one thing. Run fees by itself, and add fees, payroll, academics or transport whenever your school is ready — same system, same data, nothing to migrate later. What you pay depends on the modules you switch on and how many students you have, so we quote it on the call once we know what you actually need.
Yes. That is the point. We set up your heads, instalments and receipt series as they are today, and the receipt prints on your school's letterhead.
Yes. Record what the parent actually paid; the balance and the defaulter list update immediately.
A concession is recorded against the student, so the payable amount is correct everywhere — receipt, balance, reminders and reports.
Not yet from the app. You can record a UPI or bank transfer the parent has already made. The in-app payment flow is in development and will be included at no extra charge.
Only the roles you allow. Every role in NEXUS ERP has its own permissions, and the action stays on record against the user who did it.
For school accounts, usually yes — there is a general ledger, trial balance, bank reconciliation and budgets inside NEXUS ERP, fed by the fees you collect.
No slide deck. We walk you through NEXUS ERP set up the way a school like yours works, answer what you actually asked, and tell you plainly what is live today and what is still being built.

Schools usually arrive looking for one of these. Add any of the others later — it is the same system, so your data carries over.
Take the register in under a minute per class, tell the parent the same morning, and let the month's attendance flow straight into payroll — student and staff attendance in one system.
Lesson plans, assignments, study material and online classes for your teachers — connected to the same timetable, syllabus and exam records the rest of the school already uses.
One record per student that every department reads from — admission, attendance, fees, exams, transport and parent contact, instead of five registers that disagree.
Staff records, who is allowed to see what, leave, attendance and a payroll run that already knows PF, ESI, TDS and professional tax.
